Terms of sale
Conditions for purchasing Segna pieces
This English version is a translation provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails. Version of 15 October 2026.
1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms of sale”) govern every sale of fashion pieces concluded between Segna, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 941 271 801, whose registered office is at 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris (“Segna”), and any natural person of legal age acting for non-professional purposes (the “Customer”), via the website www.segnashare.com or the Segna mobile app.
Purchasing is open to any Customer who has an account, whether she is a Guest or a Club member. The conditions specific to the membership and to the provision of pieces are set out in the Club terms; use of the website and the app is governed by the Terms of use.
Every order implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms of sale, evidenced by the box ticked before payment. Segna may amend them; the applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.
2. Pieces sold
Segna sells second-hand or vintage fashion pieces (clothing, shoes, accessories), selected and inspected by its team. Each product page shows the brand, the period where known, the size, the materials, the colours, photos and a condition according to the following scale: new with tags, excellent, very good, good, acceptable.
As the pieces are second-hand, slight signs of wear consistent with the stated condition do not constitute a lack of conformity. Known defects are indicated on the product page. The photos are contractually binding as to the general appearance of the piece; slight variations in colour due to the screen are possible.
Segna checks the authenticity of branded pieces before they are put online. If serious doubt is established as to the authenticity of a piece purchased, Segna takes it back and refunds the Customer in full, including return costs.
The pieces are unique. A piece added to the bag is reserved for 10 minutes from the start of payment; after this period, it is put back on sale.
3. Prices
Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (including French VAT at the rate of 20%), excluding delivery costs. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
Club members receive a discount on the displayed price: 10% for Club, 20% for Club+, applied automatically in the bag for as long as the membership is active. When a member buys a piece that she is wearing under her membership, the same discount applies; a Guest Customer who buys a piece at the end of the period for which it was made available to her receives a 10% discount.
Promo codes cannot be combined with one another and must be entered before payment.
4. Orders
Orders are placed on the website or in the app. The Customer provides her first name, a delivery address in mainland France, a French mobile phone number and, where applicable, a billing address. She checks the summary (pieces, prices, delivery, total including VAT), ticks the box accepting the Terms of sale and proceeds to payment.
The sale is concluded upon confirmation of payment by Stripe. Segna sends an order confirmation by email. Segna reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of an ongoing dispute with the Customer, suspected fraud or unavailability of the piece; any sums paid are then refunded.
The Customer may cancel her order free of charge, from her Orders section, for as long as shipping has not begun.
5. Payment
Payment is due in full when the order is placed. It is made by bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, via the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Segna does not store card data. An invoice is available from the Customer’s account.
If payment is declined, the order is not recorded and the piece is put back on sale.
6. Delivery
Segna delivers to mainland France only, from its logistics centre in Paris. The methods offered for the Customer to choose from are:
| Method | Details |

In any event, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order; failing this, the Customer may terminate the sale after having called on Segna to deliver within a reasonable additional period (Article L216-6 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation)).
The risk of loss of or damage to the piece passes to the Customer upon physical handover of the parcel. The Customer checks the condition of the parcel on receipt and reports any anomaly (damaged, opened or incomplete parcel, missing piece, non-conforming piece, wrong item) from the Orders section, with supporting photos, within 24 hours of delivery. If no report is made within this period, the parcel is presumed to have been properly received, without prejudice to the legal guarantees.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the piece to withdraw without giving any reason. She informs Segna by email at contact@segnashare.com or using the form below, then sends the piece back within 14 days of her notification, in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, with its Segna tags.
Return costs are borne by the Customer; Segna provides a pickup-point return label, the cost of which is deducted from the refund (€3.50 for up to 3 pieces, €4.50 beyond that). Segna refunds all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned piece, using the payment method used. The Customer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the piece.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to pieces that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene.
Model form: “For the attention of Segna, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, contact@segnashare.com. I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the sale of [piece], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name, address, date, signature.”
8. Legal guarantees
The Customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code (Code civil)). For a second-hand good, any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 12 months of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. The Customer may choose repair or replacement; failing that, as the pieces are unique, a refund. These guarantees are exercised free of charge for the Customer by contacting contact@segnashare.com.
Legal guarantees (box required under Article D. 211-2 of the French Consumer Code)
The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the good to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event that a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date on which it appeared.
Where the contract for the sale of the good provides for the supply of digital content or a digital service on a continuous basis for a period of more than two years, the legal guarantee applies to that digital content or digital service throughout the planned period of supply. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service and not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entails an obligation for the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to keep the good in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the good repaired or replaced within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.
If the good is repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests repair of the good but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date on which the good is replaced.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the good, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund in return for giving back the good, if:
1° The professional refuses to repair or replace the good;
2° The repair or replacement of the good takes place after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement of the good causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming good, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement good;
4° The lack of conformity of the good persists despite the seller’s unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the good or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract. In that case, the consumer is not required to request repair or replacement of the good first.
The consumer is not entitled to termination of the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the good is out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the restored good is delivered.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who obstructs in bad faith the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (Article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the good is kept, or to a full refund in return for giving back the good.
9. Customer service and complaints
Any question or complaint can be made via the chat in the app, by email at contact@segnashare.com or by phone on 07 81 77 47 35. Segna replies within a few working days.
10. Mediation and disputes
In the event of an unresolved dispute, the Customer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator, under the conditions laid down in Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. These Terms of sale are governed by French law; failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
11. Personal data
The data collected for the order are processed in accordance with Segna’s Privacy policy.
