Terms of use

This English version is a translation provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails. Version dated 15 October 2026.

These terms of use (the ‘Terms of use’) govern access to and use of the website www.segnashare.com, the help centre help.segnashare.com and the Segna mobile app (together, the ‘Platform’), published by Segna, SASU with share capital of €10,000, RCS Paris 941 271 801, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, contact@segnashare.com.

The Platform makes it possible to discover a catalogue of second-hand fashion pieces, to buy pieces (Terms of sale), to join the Club in order to wear pieces (Club terms), and to post and view looks within the Segna community.

Creating an account constitutes acceptance of the Terms of use and acknowledgement of the Privacy policy. Segna may amend the Terms of use; Users are informed by e-mail or in the app at least 15 days before a substantial amendment takes effect, and may close their account if they refuse it.

The Platform is reserved for natural persons of legal age, acting in a private capacity and residing in mainland France. By creating an account, the User declares that they are of legal age. Any use for commercial purposes (resale, rental to third parties, professional photo shoots) is prohibited without Segna's written agreement.

The app is available on Apple's App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms of use, has no maintenance or support obligation and is not responsible for claims relating to the app. Payments are processed by Stripe and not through Apple in-app purchase, since the membership gives access to physical goods.

An account is created by e-mail (one-time code), with Sign in with Apple or with Google. A French mobile phone number, verified by SMS, is required to place orders; a given number can only be linked to one account. The User provides accurate information (first name, date of birth, address) and keeps it up to date.

The account is personal. The User is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from their account. The User reports any unauthorised use without delay to contact@segnashare.com. Segna may end active sessions and require the User to log in again.

Statuses: a Guest account (free) makes it possible to browse the catalogue, buy pieces and take part in the community; Member status is obtained by joining the Club.

For certain plans or certain bags, Segna requests an identity verification (official document and selfie), carried out by Stripe Identity. A User who refuses cannot access the services concerned. Segna only receives the result of the verification and the strictly necessary data (name, date of birth, document type).

The User may publish a public profile (first name, photo, town or neighbourhood, age, occupation, Instagram handle, bio), looks (photos or videos of outfits linked to Segna pieces) and inspirations, follow other members and communicate with the Segna team via the in-app chat. The chat is reserved for communication with Segna; there is no messaging between members.

By publishing content, the User warrants that they hold the rights to it and grants Segna a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, for the duration of publication, to host, display and technically adapt it on the Platform. Any reuse by Segna outside the Platform (social media, advertising) requires the User's express consent, requested for each item of content.

The following are prohibited: content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, that infringes the privacy or image rights of third parties, or that is misleading or promotional, as well as content depicting minors. The User may remove or archive their looks at any time.

Reporting and moderation: any content may be reported to contact@segnashare.com. Segna reviews reports within a reasonable time, may remove content, informs its author of this together with the reason, and allows the author to dispute it. Segna removes manifestly unlawful content without delay.

It is prohibited to circumvent the Platform's technical measures, to automate access (scraping, bots), to create multiple accounts, to provide false information, to misuse the referral scheme (self-referral, fictitious accounts), or to harass other users or the Segna team.

Referrals: each User has an invitation link. When a friend creates an account via this link, the referrer receives an included swap (free delivery) that can be used as part of the Club. Segna may modify or suspend the scheme and cancel benefits obtained fraudulently.

Progress (XP, levels, badges, streaks): these features are for fun, have no monetary value, and may be modified or removed by Segna.

Segna may restrict, suspend or close an account, after giving reasoned notice by e-mail or in the app, in the event of a breach of the Terms of use, the Terms of sale or the Club terms, in particular: failure to return pieces, unpaid invoice, fraud or attempted fraud, false information, unlawful content, abusive behaviour towards the team. In the event of a late return or an ongoing dispute, access may be limited to tracking the return and making payment until the matter is resolved. The User may dispute this at contact@segnashare.com.

The User may delete their account at any time from the settings. Deletion is not possible while an order, a return or a dispute is in progress. Deletion results in the immediate erasure of the profile, looks, media and contact details; the history of orders, payments and shipments is kept in pseudonymised form for the legal retention periods (Privacy policy). Benefits (included swaps, referrals, progress) are lost.

The Platform, its brand, its logos, its texts, its photos and videos of pieces, its catalogue and its code are the property of Segna or its partners. The brands of the pieces belong to their respective owners; Segna is not affiliated with any of them. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

Segna endeavours to keep the Platform accessible but does not guarantee that it will be free from interruption (maintenance, updates, incidents). Segna is not liable for indirect damage or for content published by Users, subject to its moderation obligations. Nothing in the Terms of use limits Segna's liability in the event of gross negligence (faute lourde) or personal injury.

Segna sends service messages (orders, returns, payments, security) by e-mail, push notification and SMS; these cannot be switched off as long as the account exists. News and offers are sent by e-mail and push notification only with the User's consent, which can be changed at any time in the settings or via the unsubscribe link. Segna does not send marketing SMS messages.

The Terms of use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the User may refer it free of charge to a consumer mediator, under the conditions laid down in articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation). Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
